night four - prayer
'Kay, fourth night of this... I guess it's gettin' easier, but I dunno if it should be. Does that mean I'm gettin' used to this? I— I hope not.
But anyways, thank you, God, for lookin' out for me today. It 'cus you were lookin' out for me—us—I bet that decidin' to trust Apollo, Klav-yay, and Athena was all you. I mean, that's what luck is, right? God lookin' out for you. But I'm amazed that Athena figured out that Bigby was a killer on her own, honestly. I dunno... I was gonna check him soon, since I thought havin' a real Detective helpin' would be good, but so much for that.
Speakin' of, I gotta take back what I said about MeGooMe yesterday, at least a little. Klav-yay told me about— About what makes people kill each other, apparently, and... Well, shit, you know I know what that's like. It's just like that shit Maryann pulled, where people I'd known since I was a kid were doin' all kinds of crazy shit. Don't know the people here nearly that well, but still, it's wrong. I hope whoever's been doin' that, whoever the Maryann is here? I hope they get what's comin' to them.
So I'm sorry, to all of you killers that... Well, that I guess I'm gonna have to kill, more or less. It's all of us, but I still feel a little responsible. MeGooMe wasn't a nice girl, but Bigby? He was alright. I mean, not like I knew him well or anything, so I guess you can never tell, but... I dunno. I was thinkin' if I were a Detective, which, fuck that idea by now, I'd want to be like him. Aw, shit, that's fuckin' lame... Good thing no one can hear this, I guess. [ HAHAHA ] So, yeah. I hope you're restin' in peace, Bigby. Heh, I hope there's whatever kind of beer you liked to drink.
And... I don't know about the rest. Two more graves showed up, but that's... Fuckin' weird. I mean, they've been makin' a show of showin' off the fact they killed people before, so? Not that I'm complainin', I mean, God as my witness and all that shit, but. I dunno, I hate that people keep dyin', even when we get things right.
Anyways. Tonight, I'm hopin' you'll watch after those three lawyers. All of them are in danger, I think. Well, and me too, but I don't want to think about that too much. So I'll pray for them instead of myself. I don't want the killers to pick no one, but if they do... I hope it's not them. Lord knows I need all the help I can get.
